When Eilyn Cueto was a just a kid growing up in Miami, she developed a strategy for getting her bedroom just the way she wanted it. You see, when whenever her father scheduled a trip to the hardware store, she would go with him and convince him to buy her the paint to change and redecorate her bedroom. Perhaps there was some subterfuge, but it was worth it in the long run. Best of all, she now realizes that, when she would go home, lock herself in her room to paint it and rearrange everything inside, that was the source of her love of design, since she would repeat that pattern every few months.
When Eilyn Cueto graduated high school esrly, at the age of 16, she didn’t know what she wanted to do with her life - who does? - so she traveled to Costa Rica to discover her passion. She was drawn to classes in interior design and she worked as an intern with an architect down there. Now, it is her passion; it’s what she does for a living, but it’s about a lot more than about the money. Since then, she has helped to build numerous public spaces, including hotels, restaurants, markets and many more.
Eilyn Cueto grew up in Miami, Florida and then began traveling the world during her studies and continues to travel for her work in design. She has always had a vision for owning her own grassroots company and now that dream is a reality. She works tirelessly to design beautiful custom spaces for her clients around the world both in residential and commercial environments. Something that has always caused Eilyn Cueto to be successful is her determination and willing approach to challenges. Every space is unique and every client is unique both in requests as well as in demeanor. These variables require her to be able to adapt and overcome challenges as they come without delay. No matter the space, she is always up for the challenges of a new design requirement.
In addition to her time spent in design, Eilyn Cueto also makes it a priority to give back. She grew up in a very diverse community and therefore she takes time to work with countless charities that she knows give back to the very community that helped make her the woman she is today. She volunteers for a variety of charities including but not limited to KidSanctuary Campus, Amigos for Kids, The Salvation Army, and the international chapter of Un Techo para mi Pais (A Roof for my Country). These causes are all passion projects as they seek to give children a place to live and be cared for.
From her perspective, Eilyn Cueto believes it is very important to remember where she came from and to give back to her community whenever possible. This is her key motivation for working hard to help so many prominent charities throughout South Florida and beyond, including The Salvation Army, KidSanctuary Campus, and the international chapter of Un Techo para mi Pais (A Roof for my Country). Eilyn Cueto strongly believes that every human being should have a place they can call home, especially the children, so she works hard to make that happen.
Her career is also important to her. In the last decade, Eilyn Cueto created many valuable relationships with people in all walks of life, based on her love of design, as well as her love of people. Over the course of her career, Eilyn has expressed a strong desire and made a strong effort to establish a design firm that moves forward from a grassroots level and builds into a business where anyone, regardless of wealth, can go to get exactly what they want in the design realm. Whether a design is classic or trendy in nature. Eilyn Cueto is all about its beauty and functionality of design, although she is also egalitarian and wants to see that everyone has access to a design that works for them.
From her various platforms, Eilyn Cueto has designed and built numerous public spaces, including hotels, restaurants, markets and many more. Through those efforts, Eilyn feels she has made her mark on the world in her very own unique way. She began to discover her fresh design vision while still in college, when she worked as a freelance designer under the tutelage and supervision of a licensed architect.
